01: INITIAL CONSULTATION: WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

This appointment is about 1 hour long, we’ll discuss everything about you and your goals. There’s usually a lot of backstory behind food and nutrition, so it’s important that you have time to explain everything you want to me to know in order for me to learn all about you!

02: FOLLOW UP SESSIONS: how we connect

After your initial consultation, each follow up session will be about 45 minutes long. In these sessions, we’ll set small goals for you to work on, check in on your progress, and adjust as needed every step of the way. In the beginning, in order to meet your goals and continue moving forward, we’ll usually meet once a week or once every other week.

03: What to Expect:

  • Real life, convenient nutrition: Nutrition should be simple and easy. We focus on ingredients you can find, meals you can quickly make, and tips for life on the go. You'll never be expected to find or buy any obscure supplements or ingredients you can't pronounce. Sammi and her team believe that eating healthy should be an effortless part of your life, not one that feels like a stressful or impossible task.

  • All food groups. For the sake of a sustainable plan, expect to include all food groups in your diet (unless, of course, you have a medical reason not to). There is truly room for all foods in a healthy diet, and if you're looking for a sustainable lifestyle, you'll need to include them all. This means real pizza, real cookies and French fries - no “healthy substitutions.”

  • A healthy relationship with food. As we go over your habits and goals, we'll probably also dig into your eating behaviors and the reasoning behind them. As part of a incorporating all foods into your diet, expect to learn how to create a healthy relationship with food once and for all (yay!).
